Reconstruction! Let me start by offering a warm, heartfelt thanks to all those involved with the victorious class-action lawsuit against Lee's AFN. Without your efforts, this would not have been possible. Second, let me reiterate that, although the magazine is now out of business, our work is not yet done. There is a void to be filled, and it is up to all of us to make sure that it is not done by anyone who is just as unscrupulous. We need to make sure that this never happens again. The main reason the TF Militia was created was to combat the evils of Lee's AFN, and the organizations they supported. With that main objective finally accomplished, we must now turn our efforts toward the "mopping up" efforts. Our job is not yet done! There are still dealers out there who need to be sought out and, "corrected." There are still transformers out there to retrieve and bring to the general tf-public. It is not yet time for us to rest, brothers and sisters! Soon, very soon, I promise. But not just yet. The primary problem? There is the gaping void of Lee's afn left unfilled currently. I don't believe that Tomarts, Toyfare, etc are up to the task of taking on the Transformers with the passion and accuracy that the fans need...demand! No, I'm afraid that there must be found, another solution to the problem. Here is mine: I offer to you the following proposal: WE, the fans, create a transformers magazine to fill the void. WE contribute. We write the articles, take the pictures. We distribute. Sound like a big project? IT IS!! BUT IT'S NOT AN IMPOSSIBLE ONE! We have Botcon...3H Enterprises is kind enough to take on the herculean task of putting that together. So who is to say that a person or persons wouldn't be able to do a print magazine as well? Consider it an off-shoot of ATT, or an off-shoot of Botcon...call it Transformers, the Magazine. Call it the Botcon Quarterly. WHATEVER; the point is it will be for us, BY us! There are SO MANY of us out there with the knowledge and abilities to make this happen. We have so much going for us. And this is the perfect opportunity to do it! So ask you...all of you...can we do this? YES!! I propose that we form some sort of committee...let's organize this! Let's get tallies of vote for who would want this, and who would contribute to this...do we make it another fanzine? Or do we make it a full-fledged magazine? Is 3H Enterprises capable of tackling a magazine project? Do others have access to a publishing company? SOUND OFF! Get involved...don't let this opportunity pass us up. I hearby throw my personal support behind such a project, as well as all the resources that the TF Militia can muster. We, and I, will give 110% to whoever can lead us to success. We'll donate money, time, information of ANY type...you tell us what you want, and you'll get it. This is my pledge for the TF Militia, and to all fans of the transformers. I will be there for you, just as TFM is there for all the fans of transformers. We've made a difference thus far. It's time to make a difference one more time.
