The many (well two anyway) lives of BM Obsidian, repainted as (surprise!) Obsidian for RiD. Dave Van Domlen has started calling this Gateway Obsidian (after the cow spotting camo). Note also that in RiD he gets a printed manual, and sold for less than in BM. The sparks of each toy. The BM version is clearly Vehicon, while the RiD version is molded in a thicker plastic to try and obscure the molding. However, if you look closely, you can still see the outline of a Vehicon symbol. The only remold (as far as I could tell) on the toy came on the missles. The tips of the BM version are ringed, while the tips of the RiD version are smooth.
