In the words of crazy-steve: "I have two different trademark stampings. One is the usual "HASBRO/TAKARA" version, but the other has only the "HASBRO" stamping. Where the TAKARA stamping would be there's instead a sloppy puddle of plastic, as if an attempt were made to cover the TAKARA stamping during the molding process. Strange. The "HASBRO" only version also has some sloppily molded details, the most noticeable of which is a certain contour line along the driver's side rear quarter panel. My "HASBRO/TAKARA" version has the full contour line running roughly the length of the window sticker. The "HASBRO" only version has only a partial line that seems to have been partially filled in for whatever reason. For those of you who've read the Stampings and Rubbies section on the site, this is a Euro-Classics version...not to be confused with the Mexican version. :-) This is ALSO not to be confused with the transitional-American versions, where Japan is blocked out, and Macau is stamped over it. Production shifted in 86/87. Please note that this is found on the plastic-chested version.
We're also picturing Blades (plastic-chest version) with Japan blocked out, and 'Macau' stamped after it. The manufacturer-stamping can be found on the underside of Blades'...blades. We'll be working on getting pics up of ALL the transitional stampings, in another section of the site. :-) This is just to whet your appetite. :-)

Highlighting Skydive: The Japan version has the number "2" molded at the base of the wing where the Macau version does not. The arms of the Macau version have MIPS on the thumb and inner shoulder where the Japan version does not. The Macau version's face is sloppily molded, with less lines on the mouth shield. The Macau version also has MIPS on the leg area that are placed lower than the Japan version, and two of those MIPS cut into Skydive's feet, where the Japan version has them placed high enough to clear the foot area totally. (Please note that this applies to ALL aerialbots, not just Skydive. He simply makes a good example.)
