Browning

Like TrainRobo, he's one of those few toys that didn't see a release in the USA. Japan saw it, though...first as a pre-Transformer, and then as a Decepticon. Wee.

Japanese Decepticon Browning

Pre-TF Browning

A fun fellow. Released both in blue and red versions (check the inside of the arms while in robot-mode, for example) which also corresponds to the outer-coloring of the chrome (pure chrome vs a more gold-aluminum color). It is thought that the red one is more common.

Fake Browning

Note: The fact that, excepting the unchromed acc bits, the toy itself is remarkably exact in its reproduction. If you find one loose, the only way to tell real from fake (right off the bat) is to note whether or not the unit has a Takara-stamping on it (real versions have Takara stamped on one side of the upper black portion of the handle in gun-mode).

For more on transforming guns, see the Megatron and Gunrobo pages.
