There's a new team in town...the Bot-Trotters. Give it up!

Allegiance: Various
Name: Bot-Trotters
Function: Arena Mixed Combat

Quote: "Come and Get Some!"

Another groups of Wrecked and Ruined'ers has joined the fray! Though each member has his particular specialty, when they work as a team they are a force to be reckoned with.

Name: Preten-Dor

Profile:
Salvaged from the high-gravity planet that the creation matrix was located on, Grimlock's abandoned Pretender shell was rebuilt, granted a spark of its own and imbued with specific offensive technologies.

Abilities:
Nucleon blaster fires explosive shells that render an opponent modelocked. Serrated saw can slice thru almost any materials. Dual-wheel multi-suspension design excellent for traveling debris-strewn terrain. Self-repair routines from original Pretender specs allow speeded-up regeneration of damage during battle.

Weaknesses:
Though heavily-armored, several well-placed shots can scramble the unit's threat-assessment systems, causing an allegience-reset. Dire consequences for all if this happens in battle.

Name: Ripsaw

Profile:
Originally one of the cobra Dreadnocks, Buzzer fell prey to one of Bombshell's cerebro-shells and was sent walking...over a cliff! His body pulped, Dr Mind-bender fused his cranium with cybernetic components. Thus equipped, Buzzer serves as a liason between the decepticons and cobra.

Abilities:
Ripsaw has a variety of hack and slash weaponry available to him, and he uses it with reckless abandon. As a former flesh creature, has the stature and ability to sneak up under most larger Transformers, and gut them from underneath. Sensors allow him to pinpoint vital weak areas, but Ripsaw prefers to simply hack and slash until a 'bot is rendered twitching and useless.

Weaknesses:
His mixture of robot and human parts renders him unable to belong to either group. Lack of thinking on the human wetware often frustrates the robotic cpu, causing cognative dissonence. Small size means that he's easily stepped on if discovered.

Name: Lockbot 2000

Profile:
The original Lockbot, tired of being an inferior convertors bicycle padlock, underwent the minimal upgrade, becoming Lockbot 2000. Unfortunately, the year was 2004, so even after the upgrade he was still hopelessly out-of-date.

Abilities:
Lockbot 2000 is a triple-changer; able to change from robot, to stag beetle, to remote lock and back again. As an Insect, he can crush unsuspecting targets in-between his powerful pincers. His pincers are also capable of generating static bolts of electricity and fire them at unsuspecting victims (or electrocute someone he already has in his pincers). In remote lock mode, he's become the antithesis of what he was; instead of securing items physically, he can now lock and unlock electronic devices simply by beaming a coded infrared signal at them. No longer the lock, but in-fact the key...and he does his job well, disabling the onboard security systems of most devices and vehicles, including Transformers.

Weaknesses:
A properly insulated individual can avoid the brunt of his insect-mode's static discharge. Can sometimes seize up in remote-mode. If his batteries die out, he's rendered useless in battle. Can inadvertantly disable modelock caused by Preten-Dor's shells.

Name: Primehead

Profile:
"In a universe almost the same as our own..." Prime's head was rescued from the City of Steel. Unfortunately, the rest of the autobot leader's body was unable to be salvaged. Thus, they placed him within this specially designed transport unit. Though capable of communicating with his troops, Primehead was not the leader he once was (or would have been). Primehead assigned Jazz to leadership of the earth-bound Autobots, and eventually joined up with the Bot-trotters (Megatron, while eventually gaining control of earth and its resources, lost Cybertron when it was devoured by Unicron, as Prime's body- and thus, the Matrix of Leadership- was a lost artifact in the sewers of old Megatronia-1).

Abilities:
A seasoned commander, Primehead can devise and execute complicated tactical battleplans. As the Bot-Trotter's nominal leader, he gives epic speeches that motivate his troops in battle. Equipped with tripod walking system that allows him to traverse most terrain. Has a variety of grabbing and cutting arms at his disposal, useful for both repair and disassembly of friends and foes. laser-guns, rockets, and missle-launchers make Primehead a formidable foe.

Weaknesses:
Without his original body, Primehead does not carry the weight he once did. This loss of stature has resulted in a crumbling view of his own self-image. As a result, he is usually distracted during battle with prying loose a small component from a defeated foe, and bringing it back to base. He has plans...

Notes: Not much to say. These were all bits and pieces I'd saved after my last big purge (a garbage bag full of spare kitbash parts hit the curb). I'd planned to come back and finish these guys. It took me a few months, but I finally did. :-) The mix of parts I had in my ziplock bag led to the creation (or rather, completion) of these 4 guys at the same time, so rather than come up with 4 pages of characters, I made them a team. Frankly, those goofy back-stories took longer than making the toys themselves. :-)
